Jonathan Phillips

Jonathan Phillips is Founder and a Managing Director of Healthcare Growth Partners. He has served as Managing Director since he founded HGP in 2005, and his focus is on strategic and transaction advisory services. Jon has provided strategic and financial advisory services to over sixty clients across various sectors within the healthcare industry. Jon has represented clients in mergers and acquisitions and equity financing transactions with an aggregate value of over $2 billion. Prior to founding Healthcare Growth Partners, Jon was a member of the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at William Blair and Company, where he provided financial advisory services to healthcare growth companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings and private placement s. At William Blair, Jon worked with companies across the healthcare industry, but he particularly focused on healthcare information technology companies. Prior to William Blair, Jon served in various roles in the healthcare practice of Deloitte Consulting for more than four years where he provided strategic consulting to healthcare providers and other organizations. Jon serves on the board of directors of Streamline Health (Nasdaq: STRM) and of Ophthalmic Imaging Systems (NasdaqBB: OISI) and serves on the National Advisory Board for DePauw’s 361º Information Technology Center. He holds an undergraduate degree in economics from DePauw University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
